Again they "attach" Samtskhe-Javakheti to Armenia, revising the Kars Treaty

18.12.19 17:05

Recall that the Armenian nationalists began the collapse of the USSR and the incitement of separatism in the Caucasus under the slogans of "a return to Leninist national politics." Like “good” Lenin wanted to give Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia and make Abkhazia an independent “Soviet republic” separate from Georgia, but “bad Stalin did not allow these“ Leninist principles ”to be realized.

It is interesting, that when in 1987-1990 Armenian nationalists, referring to the "Lenin’s covenants" demanded the transfer of Karabakh to them, they did not particularly mention the Kars and Moscow treaties concluded with Turkey under the same Lenin.

The Armenian nationalists have achieved a lot. “Under the Leninist banner” they not only occupied Azerbaijani Karabakh but also fueled a separatist war in Abkhazia, essentially taking this Georgian land with the help of the Abkhaz separatists and Russia into their own hands. And when the “good” Lenin was used by the Armenian nationalists to the full 100%, the time came to use the negative attitude towards Lenin and the Bolsheviks in general. Again, for the same purpose - the increment of the territory of "Great Armenia".

It is symbolic that after Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke sharply negatively about Lenin, who, according to him, “created a state structure by laying a mine under Russian statehood that took a thousand years,” Armenian nationalists immediately decided to start reviewing the prisoners under Lenin in their favor international treaties. First of all, the Moscow and Kars treaties, which essentially annulled the enslaving Sevres treaty previously imposed on Turkey.

This is exactly what the material of political scientist Robert Harutyunyan on the Our Armenia website devoted to: “TVC TV Company: How the Bolsheviks Presented the Turks Armenia with the Treaty of Sevres ...”. (https://nashaarmenia.info/2019/12/15/%D0%BA%D0%B0%D0%BA-%D0%B1%D0%BE%D0%BB%D1%8C%D1%88%D0%B5%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%BA%D0%B8-%D0%BF%D0%BE%D0%B4%D0%B0%D1%80%D0%B8%D0%BB%D0%B8-%D1%82%D1%83%D1%80%D0%BA%D0%B0%D0%BC-%D0%B0%D1%80%D0%BC%D0%B5%D0%BD/?fbclid=IwAR3PdJr9WeuCZbCOfo0Ju1y0LLKuu9WJE8l0qR3Xbz_vm7A_z35P7UA7Zj8 )

This material was written in a seemingly "pro-Russian manner." And this is no coincidence. In fact, having betrayed Russia (after the "Maidan" of 2018 and the coming to power of the American puppet Pashinyan), Armenia continues to parasitize on it. And the revision of the attitude to his history that began in the Russian Federation also wants to use for his own purposes.

It is clear that the Armenian nationalists to solve the "maximum task" Armenia’s rejection of Eastern Turkey is now unrealistic. But then, given the hostility of Russia and Georgia, deliberately provoked by the Armenian lobby, they hope with Russian help to take away Samtskhe-Javakheti from Georgia, and if other lands come out. In addition to the already selected and “Armenized” with Russian help Abkhazia.

That is why, in the material of Robert Harutyunyan, the “Armenian” not only attributed the original Turkish and Azerbaijani lands (“The Soviet government transferred the Armenian regions of Kars, Ardagan, Ardvin and Surmalu to Turkey, and the Armenian regions of Nakhichevan, Nagorny and Plain Karabakh to Azerbaijan.”). The map also illustrates the territorial claims of Armenia to the Georgian region of Samtskhe-Javakheti (it is depicted as “Armenian Javakhk”).

The material presents maps and videos in abundance, where “Javakhk” is indicated as “Armenian”.

Harutyunyan scolds not only the Soviet government, but also England, which we recall that for decades supported (in its, naturally, interests) Armenian terrorists against Turkey and against Russia. But here the English good deeds for the Armenians are forgotten, but a bet has been made on "an insidious alliance between the British and Georgians." Again, in the light of the same claims to the Jahavahk.

“The anti-Russian policies of Georgia and Azerbaijan turned them into British allies in resolving territorial disputes with Armenia, which adhered to its traditionally pro-Russian orientation. The main task of the British was to weaken, curtail Armenia as much as possible, to make the country dependent and vulnerable on all sides. A weak and small Armenia is tantamount to a weak and small policy of Russia in the region. That is why the British advocated the transfer of Nakhichevan, Zangezur and Karabakh to Azerbaijan, Javakhk and Lori to Georgia, and the Kars region to Turkey.

Under pressure from the British, the Armenian-Georgian confrontation was resolved in favor of Georgia. Here is what G. Petrosyan writes: “There is no need to prove that the war (Georgian-Armenian) ended with the victory of the Republic of Armenia and its territorial acquisitions, however, as a result of the dictates of the British military command, the victory of Armenia became a diplomatic defeat. Thus, the British wanted to emphasize once again that this defeat is a direct result of Russophilia of Armenians”.

Recall that the aggression and the attempt to occupy Kvemo Kartli of Armenia against Georgia at the end of 1918 ended in the complete defeat of the Armenian invaders, their attack on Tiflis (Tbilisi) was repelled, and Georgian troops launched a counterattack. In order to prevent the complete defeat of Armenia, the British intervened, which stopped the victorious offensive of the Georgian army, which, with the then themes, could reach Yerevan in a week or two. But the habit of Armenian falsifiers of history everywhere ascribes to themselves “great victories” is well known.

In principle, it is understood why the article focuses on the Georgian-Armenian wars and conflicts. Having broken the Kars and Moscow treaties, Armenia first of all wants to question not the borders of Turkey, but the borders of Georgia.

Interestingly, Robert Harutyunyan calls for breaking international treaties, referring not to anyone, but to Nazi Garegin Nzhde:

"Nzhdeh writes:" States recognize international law and respect the signed treaties, since they benefit from the circumstances, but as soon as the situation changes and the signed treaties lose their significance, they spit on the agreements and betray the former ally and cast doubt on the world".

And immediately after this quote (he would have referred to Hitler!) Harutyunyan speaks of the “interests of Russia” and scolds the very England, which now, along with the USA, is the patroness of the Yerevan regime (President Armen Sargsyan generally has British citizenship).

“Sooner or later, the Russian public will get the idea that the Moscow and Kars treaties have not brought anything good to the state interests of Armenia and Russia. Giving the Armenian territories to Turkey and Azerbaijan, the Bolsheviks implemented the English geopolitical map. They did this because in the first years they came to power, they needed the patronage of a strong power such as Great Britain, therefore they pursued an anti-Armenian territorial policy that was beneficial to the state interests of London and which England had pursued before. ”

Armenian nationalists are not averse to the “last resort” of using anti-Western sentiments in Russia in order to “grow into territories”. Since it will be difficult to do with Turkey, a blow may be inflicted on Georgia. Given the power in the Russian Federation in the Armenian lobby led by Sergei Lavrov (Kalantarov), this danger is quite real.
