Customs officers seize $6,337 in undeclared gold items on Armenia border

Georgian customs officers seized ₾16,699 ($6,337) in undeclared gold on the Sadakhlo Border Crossing Point on the country's southern border with Armenia, the Revenue Service announced on Monday.

 

The Service said the items - weighing in at 172,1 grams - were seized during a physical search of a foreign citizen.

 

The body added the case had been handed over to the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance.
