PM nominee condoles victims of Nergeti landslide

Irakli Kobakhidze, a nominee for the post of Prime Minister, offered his condolences to the families and relatives of the landslide-hit Nergeti village tragedy victims.

 

“I express my condolences over the tragedy in west Georgia that claimed lives of people. I condole to their families and relatives,” Kobakhidze said.

 

Last night, a landslide hit Nergeti village of the Baghdati municipality in the Imereti region, trapping four houses. Rescuers have recovered four dead bodies, safely relocated one person, and are still searching for five missing individuals.
