The firemen and rescuers from the Emergency Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are intensively conducting the localization works of the fire that broke out in the forest massif on the mountain slope in the Lugela valley, Chkhorotsku municipality. Information about this is disseminated by the Emergency Management Agency.
According to them, about 150 firefighters with special equipment, drones and two border police helicopters are involved in the process of extinguishing the fire. Due to the difficult terrain, it is not possible to bring the fire-rescue equipment to the center of the fire.
In addition, they note that during the whole night, there will be a manpower that will continuously monitor the area.
