According to Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of Georgian Dream, if Salome Zurabishvili pardons Lazare Grigoriadis, she will "openly engage in revolutionary processes".
As Kobakhidze told journalists, the alliance between the President and the "radical opposition" is already visible, and if the President takes the step of pardoning, it "will be a complete exposure of her revolutionary aspirations."
"We all see the alliance between Salome Zurabishvili and the radical opposition, the collective National Movement, they have a common patron and operate with a common agenda. If Salome Zurabishvili takes such a step, she will openly engage in revolutionary processes. Let's see if she does it. This will be a kind of signal to young people like Grigoriadis that burning a policeman alive can go unpunished. Sending such a signal means encouraging revolutionary processes. Salome Zurabishvili's alliance with the radical opposition has already been exposed, and if she pardons Grigoriadis, it will be a complete exposure of her revolutionary aspirations," said Irakli Kobakhidze. When asked who he means by the "common patron", Kobakhidze says "the party of global war".
For information, Lazare Grigoriadis, who is accused of wounding his father, Beka Grigoriadis, was found guilty by the Tbilisi City Court. Lazare Grigoriadis was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months of imprisonment.
