According to Levan Bezhashvili, one of the leaders of the National Movement, work is underway on the idea of creating a council around the party, the chairman of which will be the former president of the country, Mikheil Saakashvili.

As Bezhashvili explained, this council will unite both political leaders and civil activists and will be a step towards unification.

"There is an ongoing exchange of ideas and negotiations on the idea of creating a council around the National Movement, a platform that will allow us, on the one hand, to mobilize civil activists, political leaders, who will unite around the National Movement and take part in this council. The chairman of this council will be Mikheil Saakashvili and this will be a step towards unification. This issue was not discussed at the political council today, as this topic is still at the stage of negotiation and processing.
