I see the prospect that the opposition will be seriously defeated once again in the 2024 elections, Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili told journalists.
According to him, the opposition is destroyed to such a level that they have resorted to insults.
"I see the prospect that the opposition will once again be seriously defeated in the 2024 elections. I don't want to comment on the actions of frivolous people, Khabeishvili and others. These people are the usual marginalized force with no agenda. They cannot offer our society, our people any alternative opinion, criticism if you like. Just see which of their speeches will be remembered if they talked about any meaningful topic. They are so devastated that they have resorted to insults. This is the face of the marginalized, degraded opposition," said the Prime Minister.
According to him, the opposition "with its immoral people have nothing left but to resort to personal insults".
"Our weak and marginalized opposition as a whole, with all its satellites, NGOs, its degraded, immoral people, has nothing left but one thing, to resort to personal insults. These are ordinary, simple provocations, on which no serious person can have a serious comment. Anyone who tries to insult and provoke (including against the police), will be punished", said Gharibashvili.
