Aslan Bzhania: Russia has restored air traffic with Georgia, it does not affect us in any way - it is important for us to have air communication between us and Russia

The so-called president of Russia-occupied Abkhazia, Aslan Bzhania, responds to the restoration of direct air traffic between Russia and Georgia and states that this fact has no impact on Abkhazia and it is important for the "republic" to have air communication with Russia.

 

"As for air traffic with Russia, we are also working in this regard, an intergovernmental agreement document on air communication between Abkhazia and the Russian Federation should be signed. While we were busy with this, air traffic with Georgia was restored. It does not affect us in any way, it is a matter for the parties. It is important for us to have air communication between us and Russia. This is very important. I think we will solve this issue. There are difficulties, there are obstacles, but, nevertheless, the work continues," said Bzhania.
