The radical part of the Dream is sitting behind us, cursing and calling us agents - I sent a letter to the chairman, asking him to move them to some other place, - chairwoman of the Republican Party Khatuna Samnidze said.
As she noted, there is a danger that the place where they are sitting may turn into a center of constant controversy and conflict.
"The radical part of the Dream, despite withdrawing the law, continues to act in the spirit of this law. They are sitting behind us, cursing and calling us spies. It may be hard for them that we call traitors those who initiated the Russian law and voted for it, but yes, they are acting against the interests of the country and betraying this country, and instead of stopping talking about this bill, they continue to do the same and call us agents. This was followed by a controversy. Japaridze threw a microphone, Sozar Subari directly called Nakaidze an agent, they also addressed me, as soon as I intervened and said that I was an agent, they told us that they knew very well which country’s agents we were. This was followed by the arrival of other deputies and they attacked Nakaidze. They threw a broken microphone at him. Since this has been going on for two days now, it has turned into a physical confrontation, and the place where we and those 9 are sitting may become a center of constant confrontation, so I wrote a letter to the chairman. He is obliged to ensure order at the session, so I asked him to ask the members of his majority to move to another place so that this place does not become a center of constant controversy," said Samnidze.
