Giorgi Vashadze: The main message of the MEPs is that integration into the European Union cannot be achieved with facade reforms and changes

We talked about the ongoing processes in Georgia, especially the issue related to the Russian law was emphasized, Giorgi Vashadze, the leader of Strategy Builder, said this after meeting with the representatives of Hungary, Romania and Denmark in the European Parliament.

 

According to Giorgi Vashadze, the main message of the European parliamentarians is that integration into the European Union cannot be achieved with facade reforms and facade changes.

 

"We met with the members of the European Parliament from the political group Renew, who represent Hungary, Romania and Denmark in the European Parliament.

 

We talked about the ongoing processes in Georgia, especially emphasizing the issue related to the Russian law and the prospects of Georgia's European integration.

 

The main message of the MEPs is that integration into the European Union cannot be achieved with facade reforms and facade changes, therefore real reforms are needed from the Georgian Dream side!

 

The second, important issue was that everyone saw that the population of Georgia deserves EU membership and, unlike the government, is oriented towards Europe.

 

And another conclusion, Georgia­n Dream does not express the will of the Georgian people and is not motivated to lead the country to Europe," said Giorgi Vashadze.
