According to the decision of the Lelo political council, the party will support all initiatives and activities of the pro-Western forces, which will promote the dropping of the law on agents of foreign influence.

As the leader of the party, Mamuka Khazaradze, noted at the briefing, on the day when Georgian Dream presents the Russian bill for approval at the session, large-scale protests will begin in coordination with public forces.

"We made a decision at the political council that today is the time for unification as never before. We are not talking about a party union, we are talking about a union that concerns every citizen. In Georgia, as never before, it is a critical moment that decides where our country will be tomorrow.

I would like to tell you that the political council of Lelo has decided to create a resistance movement of the Georgian society in order not to allow Georgia to deviate from its historic choice to become a member of the European Union.

Second - for this purpose, Lelo starts active cooperation with the Georgian society, all public and political groups that share this task.

Third - Lelo has decided to support all initiatives and activities of pro-Western forces, which will contribute to the dropping of this law and fit into the constitutional framework.

Fourth - Lelo's political council decided to start intensive work with political groups, non-governmental organizations, citizens, and media in order to coordinate all actions.

There is no time for personal grievances. Georgia is in serious danger.

Fifth - we are starting intensive work to create a joint group that will work with the international community, with the diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia, where I will specifically voice the demands that all those people who support this draft law be imposed strict sanctions.

On the day when Georgian Dream will present the Russian bill for approval at the session, 80% of the Georgian people, who long ago decided that our country should be a part of Europe, will come out and coordinate with public forces to start large-scale protests," Khazaradze notes.
