According to the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, the activities of all political parties that contradict the principles of the Constitution, the path chosen by the country and the population should be declared unconstitutional and should be banned.

 

Salome Zurabishvili calls it "alarming" to make statements against the constitution by an MP.

 

"It is alarming for an MP to make statements against the Constitution.

 

The supreme law of the country obliges the constitutional bodies to take all measures to ensure the full integration of Georgia into the European Union.

 

Full integration into the European Union and the North Atlantic Organization is the goal declared by the Constitution of Georgia.

 

The activities of all those political parties that contradict the principles of the Constitution, the path chosen by our country and its population should be declared unconstitutional and should be banned," reads the statement.
