Unfortunately, I don't remember any demarche, when prisoners were really tortured, when during Saakashvili's presidency, prisoners were really dying due to health care and inhuman treatment, - Deputy Chairman of Parliament, Archil Talakvadze, thus assessed the transfer of the demarche on behalf of the 27 countries of the European Union to the Justice Minister regarding Mikheil Saakashvili.

 

As he told journalists, it is necessary to meet with the ambassadors and discuss with them the arguments that actually exist regarding prisoner Saakashvili.

 

Regarding the transfer of Mikheil Saakashvili abroad for medical treatment, according to Archil Talakvadze, the main problem today is the feeding of Mikheil Saakashvili, not his release from prison.

 

"We confirm our respect to the representatives and ambassadors of the diplomatic corps. As for demarche, unfortunately, I don't remember any demarche, when prisoners were really tortured, when during Saakashvili's presidency, prisoners were really dying due to health care and inhuman treatment. We have information regarding this meeting. This demarche says only one thing, it is necessary to meet with the ambassadors and discuss with them the arguments and the reality that actually exists regarding prisoner Saakashvili. I believe that such a meeting will definitely take place in the coming days.
