Georgia among top five European countries in improved anti-corruption performance, Speaker says

Georgia ranks 41st globally, and enters the top 20 in Europe for the first time in 2022 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI), Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili wrote on Twitter.

 

According to him, Georgia is among the top five European countries in improved anti-corruption performance

 

“Georgia ranks 41st globally and enters the top 20 in Europe for the first time in the 2022 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI). Ranks similar to the Czech Republic, Italy and Slovenia, above nine EU and all EU candidate countries. Among the top five European countries in improved anti-corruption performance,” Speaker tweeted.
