According to him, Goncharenko’s statements serve to discredit Georgia.

"If he compares the role of Georgia with the Baltic countries, NATO member countries, which are covered by the so-called NATO security umbrella, or New Zealand, which is tens of thousands of kilometers away from Russia and Ukraine, the speculation here is obvious. Russian armed forces are stationed 50 kilometers from Tbilisi, 20 percent of the country is occupied by Russia, and all this happened when Goncharenko's friend and ally National Movement was in power, when as a result of their behavior, Russian aggression could not be avoided. Saying now that Georgia does not help Ukraine is a bit immoral. This serves to open the "second front" in Georgia.
