Instead of talking a lot, instead of being active on Facebook and making very brave, courageous statements – let them go to war, not in Kyiv, where they were taking selfies, but on the front line, Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili said at the government session.
According to him, every day, morning and evening, the opposition politicians should apologize to the Georgian population for what they have done to the country.
"Once again I want to remind these populist hypocrites - which one of the politicians have you seen died in the war?! Instead of talking a lot, instead of being active on Facebook and making very brave, courageous statements – let them go to war, not in Kyiv, where they were taking selfies, but on the front line. People are wise and everyone sees well, but since everyone is trying to earn some political points from such a tragedy, we will always remind you that it is immoral and it has nothing to do with the national interests of our country or its protection. We well remember the statements made by the representatives of the war party, their Public Defender Lomjara, that "we prefer bombs to fall in Georgia, in Tbilisi". Do you think that these people are happy that we have peace, stability and prosperity?! We all don't like and are worried about what is happening in Ukraine, but look at what is happening in the member states of NATO, how the member states of the European Union are behaving. We are an occupied state, part of the territories is occupied, so any of our words and actions need a lot of thinking. They should apologize every morning and evening to our people and society for what they have done to our country. Now let us rule the country", said the Prime Minister.
