Mikheil Saakashvili may attend the court hearing today

The third President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, may attend today's court hearing. His lawyer, Shota Tutberidze, did not rule out the possibility of this while talking to IPN.

 

The trial on the illegal crossing of the border is scheduled for 15:00 at the Tbilisi City Court.

 

We remind you that the investigation into the fact of illegal crossing of the border by Mikheil Saakashvili started on October 1. In the framework of the mentioned case, charges have been brought against 4 other persons - Elguja Tsomaia, Zurab and Shalva Tsotsoria and Giorgi Narimanidze, and it is being considered separately. The listed persons admit their guilt.
