According to Mariam Jishkariani, the head of the Empathy center, she had a meeting with the advisor to the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili and the representative of the Presidential Administration, where she provided information about Mikheil Saakashvili's health condition.
As Jishkarian told the journalists, she was at the meeting at the invitation of the President's Administration. According to her, they were interested in objective information and experts' opinion regarding the health condition of the third President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili.
"The meeting was held with the advisor to the President and the representative of the Administration. They were interested in Mikheil Saakashvili's health condition. I have provided comprehensive information on this topic. I explained that Mikheil Saakashvili's health condition is serious and it is expected to get worse. We shared the opinion of experts, including an American expert. All experts believe that due to Mikheil Saakashvili's health, it is necessary to immediately transfer him abroad for humanitarian purposes, to a European or American university clinic, where a correct diagnosis will be made and together with further treatment and rehabilitation.
From my side, it was mentioned that there is no progress in Mikheil Saakashvili's health condition. During the stay at Vivamed, despite the fact that treatment and diagnosis were carried out in a certain direction, this is not enough. I also mentioned that for 1 year it was not possible to properly manage Mikheil Saakashvili's health condition in the penitentiary system and in the clinics subordinated to it," Jishkariani said.
