“Bidzina Ivanishvili should return to politics - I don't want a shorter way to implement deoligarchization!” Girchi MP Iago Khvichia said.
However, according to Khvichia, Georgia does not need the law on de-oligarchization at all, because the country actually has a problem not of oligarchic rule, but of one-man rule.
"We don't have oligarchy in the country. We don't have the so-called rule of the few. We have a one-person rule. We have a much more problematic situation - if the problem was in the oligarchy, I would consider it a much more positive event, because I would know that everything does not depend on the interest of one person. No matter how much we say that we are fighting oligarchy, it does not look serious, because we have not reached oligarchy. We are still on the level of one-man rule - we cannot go beyond that, and we are fighting oligarchy that is the next step", said Iago Khvichia.
