“The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline is one of the most successful energy undertakings,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said during a speech at the summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
According to Turkey’s President, the primary areas of cooperation are trade, transportation, and energy. He also discussed the importance of the Southern Gas Corridor project.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed the situation in the South Caucasus, emphasizing that Ankara officially supports Azerbaijan in seeking a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
