Russian Duma unanimously supports the annexation of Ukrainian regions

03.10.22 18:00

The lower house of the Russian parliament, the State Duma, approved the annexation of four Ukrainian territories.

Not a single deputy voted against Russian President Vladimir Putin's draft law and constitutional amendments, which envisages the annexation of Zaporizhia, Kherson, Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

On September 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin, the so-called leaders of so-called Donetsk people's republic and Luhansk people's republic, Denis Pushilin and Leonid Pasechnik, as well as the Moscow-appointed "leaders" of the Zaporozhye region and Kherson region, Yevgeny Balitsky and Vladimir Saldo, signed the so-called agreement on unification of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye with Russia.
