Russia media: Last week, 37,500 vehicles and 115,000 people crossed the Russian-Georgian border in both directions through the Zemo Larsi checkpoint, which is up 23.3% compared to the previous week

There are 3,500 cars and 1,300 trucks in a queue at the Russia-Georgia border in North Ossetia, vice-prime minister of the republic Irbek Tomaev was quoted as saying by the Russian media.

 

"During the last few days, the flow of vehicles in the direction of Georgia has increased significantly. The total number of transit vehicles is 4,800, including 1,300 trucks and 3,500 cars," Tomaev noted.

 

According to him, last week, 37,500 vehicles and 115,000 people crossed the Russian-Georgian border in both directions through the Zemo Larsi checkpoint, which is 23.3% more than the respective figures of the previous week.
