The scope of Soso Gogashvili's blackmailing includes not only the court, but all state institutions - each of his new letters aims to harm the Georgian state, Mamuka Mdinaradze, the executive secretary of Georgian Dream, stated while talking to journalists.
As Mdinaradze noted, Gogashvili "talks about absurd things".
"We see this person speaking in the language of blackmail, which really did not surprise me. Not only the court is the object of attack, but the state as a whole. The scope of this person's blackmail includes not only the courts, but all state institutions. Each of his new letters aims to harm the Georgian state. It is already obvious. Regardless of a representative of the court would confirm this or not, it is clear that Gogashvili’s aim was to harm the state and his actions have no other purpose. He's carrying out an attack, but he's talking absurd things. The red line for me was when he said that Georgian Dream was sending some lists to Moscow for agreement. Everything is clear and I think that some part of the Georgian society will not believe in such fairy tales," said Mdinaradze.
Defendant Soso Gogashvili, the former deputy head of the State Security Service, responded to judge Levan Murusidze from the penitentiary institution today. In the information posted on Gogashvili's Facebook page, Gogashvili talks about his relationship with Levan Murusidze. As Gogashvili states, it was Murusidze and himself who used to settle court disputes in favor of the Dream.
The former senior official of the Security Service also states that after his arrest, Levan Murusidze met with his bodyguard and told him that "he and Chinchaladze would try everything to settle the case, in connection with which, Gogashvili sent him an answer later through the same bodyguard that he was going to expose the dirty system".
