Minister of Justice: Gogashvili's case is classified and naturally, I cannot talk about all the details

According to the Minister of Justice, Rati Bregadze, the former high-ranking official of the Security Service, Soso Gogashvili, has the right to meet only with a lawyer, whom he meets practically every day.

 

Regarding the question of how Gogashvili met his family members, the Minister of Justice told journalists that "Mr. Gogashvili's meeting with his family was in full compliance with the law."

 

The Minister refrained from talking about the details and noted that the case of Gogashvili is classified and he cannot disclose additional information.

 

"I have said it before and I repeat it now, there is no big secret in this - Gogashvili's case is classified and naturally, I cannot talk about all the details, I cannot elaborate on how his meeting with the family took place. I would like to say that Mr. Gogashvili's meeting with his family was in full compliance with the law. The person with whom he has the right to meet is his lawyer and he communicates with his human rights defender practically every day," said Bregadze.
