Tbilisi hosts International Literary Festival

On September 9-14, the Georgian capital Tbilisi will host International Literary Festival for the seventh time, featuring fourteen authors from eleven countries.

 

This year’s festival theme is Take Me Home.

 

Authors participating in the 7th Tbilisi International Festival are Andriy Lyubka (Ukraine), Martin Solotruk (Slovakia), Jessica Trainor (Ireland), John O’Donnell (Ireland), Greta Ambrazaitė (Lithuania), Dominykas Norkūnas (Lithuania), Sergey Timofeev (Latvia ), Dmitry Strotsev (Belarus), Ariane von Graffenried (Switzerland), Justyna Bargielska (Poland), Krzysztof Czyżewski (Poland), Andreas Flurakis (Greece), Bernhard Schlink (Germany), Tara McDowell (Australia).

 

The festival is organized by the Writers’ House of Georgia and supported by Tbilisi City Hall.

 

Ukrainian poet and essayist Andriy Lyubka will be one of the guests at the festival opening.
