In July, we had a record volume of exports, 540 million usd, the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Gharibashvili, said at the governmental meeting.
As the Prime Minister noted, the country has almost 40% growth in exports.
"In July, we had a record volume of exports, 540 million usd. If we compare this with the previous year, we have almost 40% increase. I would also like to say that the mentioned figure of exports is a record high figure compared to July of the previous year, as well as to other months. In total, in January-July, exports increased by almost 37% and amounted to more than 3 billion usd.
We also have an increase in imports, and in total, the trade turnover in January-July amounted to almost 10 billion 200 million usd, which is about 35% more than in previous years," said the Prime Minister.
