Movement "Home to Europe" calls on the Ministry of Internal Affairs to ensure the safety of people involved in public discussions.

According to the statement issued by the movement, Georgian Dream is deliberately trying to disrupt the meetings scheduled within the campaign.

"Today, the people's movement "Home to Europe" will hold a meeting with students. The public discussion will be led by Shota Dighmelashvili and Giorgi Kadagidze. Address: Dedaeni Park, 16:00. It should be noted that Georgian Dream is deliberately trying to disrupt the meetings scheduled within the framework of the campaign. The party activists of the Government verbally and physically confront the members of the movement in the regions in order to portray that there are two opposing groups in the society regarding Georgia's European integration, which is not true. The vast majority of Georgian citizens agree on the European future of the country, this fact cannot be covered up by managed processes.

The activities planned within our campaign are peaceful and exclude elements of violence. We appeal to the Ministry of Internal Affairs to ensure the safety of the people participating in the public discussion," reads the statement.
