Dimitri Khundadze, Sozar Subari and Mikheil Kavelashvili: The issue of the candidacy was a kind of "mousetrap" in which the Georgian government was made to be trapped

The issue of the candidacy was a kind of "mousetrap" in which the Georgian government was made to be trapped - they want us to once again sign a political agreement on the basis of which two criminals should be released from prison and Bidzina Ivanishvili should leave the country, Mikheil Kavelashvili, Sozar Subari and Dimitri Khundaze say in a joint statement.

According to the MPs, two alternative scenarios for the revolution were developed at the opposition meeting in Bakuriani - the first, based on the European Parliament resolution, and the second, based on the EU decision on candidate status. They say the main purpose of the scenario is to start a war.

"During the past few days, we had a serious discussion with the party leaders and members of the parliamentary majority about the current political processes. Our and other team leaders' and members' assessments of the events are completely consistent. However, we can not agree on only one thing - to what extent we should tell the truth to the public.

Of course, we largely understand colleagues who say that restraint is needed when disclosing information about political processes. However, today is the moment when we need to provide the public with much more information about what is happening behind the scenes of Georgian politics. The fate of the state and the people, not the government or any of us, is at stake here. Therefore, it is time to entrust the protection of ourselves and the country directly to the people.

There are great forces that want a revolution in Georgia, to change the government elected by the people and replace it with people who are directly responsible for the many crimes committed in 2004-12.

For this purpose, a meeting of the National Movement and its media & NGO satellites was held in Bakuriani, where a well-known specialist in revolutions, Peter Ackerman, was specially brought from the United States.

The issue of the EU candidate was also introduced for this purpose. Clearly, EU membership is completely irrelevant to Ukraine today. Due to the Russian military aggression, the country is on fire, the country is destroyed, hundreds of people die every day, and in such a case, the candidate status for this country, naturally, can not be even a small consolation. The same goes for Moldova, which directly borders the conflict zone, is home to hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian refugees and is experiencing severe economic problems. The only thing why they needed the issue candidacy was to aggravate the political background for the Georgian government and artificially create a revolutionary sentiments.

The issue of the candidacy was a kind of "mousetrap" in which the Georgian government was made to be trapped. Salome Zurabishvili was initially involved in this case, who was sent from Brussels with this topic as a gift. According to the initial calculations, Zurabishvili should have made the statement about Georgia's EU application in the Parliament. Because of this, she even dared to announce the sitting of the Parliament in violation of the Constitution. However, the team acted correctly and thwarted this scenario. After that, the National Movement and its satellites were activated and the campaign for the application was launched, after which the government made a decision to submit the application in a completely rational way.

The participants of the Bakuriani meeting knew in advance and it should not have been difficult for a man with insight to guess that Ukraine and Moldova would be given the status of candidates, and Georgia would be left without the status, and this expectation was fully met.

Following the EU decision, events unfolded exactly as the team members had predicted. The participants of the Bakuriani rally came out immediately and demanded the resignation of the government.

The revolutionary committee of the National Movement repeated two terms: deoligarization and depolarization. We remind you that these two terms were first recorded in the resolution of the European Parliament, and later transferred to the conclusion of the European Commission.

These terms are easily translated by them: deoligarization means the for Bidzina Ivanishvili to leave Georgia, and depolarization means the release of Saakashvili and Gvaramia from prison.

Two alternative scenarios were developed for the revolution: one short-term and the other relatively long-term.

The short-term scenario was based on a European Parliament resolution. With the well-known resolution and the statements of the MEPs, the Georgian government was severely insulted and they tried to create an emotional background among the people. However, the short-term scenario failed and the revolution did not take place on the first try.

The second scenario is based on the EU decision on candidate status. By rejecting the candidate status, they created a certain emotional background, which, in their opinion, should be followed by the so-called forcing of reforms to change the government and take ownership of the Georgian court.

One of the MEPs, Michael Gahler, was even made to say that the parties should prepare for a new political agreement. In other words, they should take us out of the constitutional framework once again and sign a political agreement, based on which two criminals should be released from prison and Bidzina Ivanishvili should leave the country. By doing so, they want to disrupt our constitutional order and deprive us of our statehood, which cannot be allowed at any cost. It is not allowed to sit at the negotiating table with people who do not recognize the state, the government, any state institution.

The same Gahler was also made to say that if Ivanishvili is a patriot, he should leave the country. This phrase of Gahler clearly shows their spirit and main goal: patriots, people who love Georgia, should leave the country and the reins of the country should be handed over to non-patriots and ungodly people.

Non-patriot and ungodly people want it because they will enforce any assignment. Most importantly, they will easily start a war, which is the main goal of this whole scenario. That's why Zelensky and Arakhamia were the participants of the revolutionary rally, which was also part of Ackerman's script.

The fact is that Georgia is only needed militarily and the Georgian people are considered to be the means of war. You understand well that neither Irakli Gharibashvili will sacrifice the country and the people for a fatal war, nor Bidzina Ivanishvili will ask him to do so. That is why they need the government who will be able to destroy the country without any problems. Such are the leaders of the United National Movement and its affiliated NGOs or television figures," the statement reads.
