We have always stated our readiness to engage in constructive dialogue. I want to call on the opposition to put the interests of our people above everything and fulfill this first condition together – to end polarization, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili said at the briefing.
According to Gharibashvili, half of the responsibility lies with the ruling team to eliminate polarization but the other half is the responsibility of the opposition. Accordingly, he called on the representatives of the opposition to keep this promise.
"We will fulfill all the conditions that are to be fulfilled by the ruling force in a very short time. The first condition and priority, which is in the interests of our people, is to have peace in the country and not to have endless quarrels or insults to each other. Half of this responsibility lies with the ruling team, but the other half is the responsibility of the opposition. We cannot fulfill this promise without them, we have always declared our readiness to engage in a constructive dialogue. I would like to call on the opposition to put the interests of our people above everything and together fulfill this first condition - to end polarization, which is a matter of great concern among our partners. The first point is to end polarization, so we will do everything in a very short time, and the rest should be done by the other side. I would like to call on the opposition once again to fulfill this promise before the Georgian people," Irakli Gharibashvili said.
