According to Irakli Kobakhidze, chairman of Georgian Dream, if the law on de-oligarchization was in force in Georgia, the leaders of Lelo Badri Japaridze and Mamuka Khazaradze, as well as the leaders of the National Movement Mikheil Saakashvili and Davit Kezerashvili would be recognized as oligarchs. Kobakhidze stated about it at the plenary sitting of the Parliament.
Kobakhidze appealed to the opposition to prepare for de-oligarchization.
"The National Movement and Lelo - two main, radical opposition parties - are talking about de-oligarchization. We would like to remind you that a law on de-oligarchization has been adopted in Ukraine and according to this law, if it was valid in Georgia, the leaders of both parties would be recognized as oligarchs. These are Khazaradze-Japaridze in Lelo and Saakashvili-Kezerashvili in National Movement. So, the oligarchs are on your side you and get ready for de-oligarchization, my friends," Kobakhidze said.
