Mikheil Sarjveladze: I will gladly join the rally in support of Bidzina Ivanishvili, if anyone sees the need for it - it may be worthwhile to show the mood of the people with rallies

According to Mikheil Sarjveladze, a member of the Georgian Dream, he will "gladly join" the rally in support of former Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili if it is organized by anyone.

As Sarjveladze PalitraNews TV, in this case, the rally would show the attitudes and mood of the Georgian people towards Ivanishvili.

"I have not heard about the rally, but it may be worthwhile to show with the rallies the mood and attitude of the Georgian people. In case of such a rally, if someone sees a need and organizes it, of course, I will be happy to join because I feel and have the mood that there are forces that want Georgia to be a pawn. I do not see my country that way.

There are influential political forces in world politics today who have such an attitude, it clearly feels that yes, war should be declared in Georgia because it will be a good opportunity to weaken Russia, I do not think so, but let's assume it. Do not think that it is the statements of Arestovych or Dolgov and some others and it appeared like a dream, as to who is dictating this, it can be problematic.

There are certain circumstances that lead to the occurrence of strange coincidences when the bank does not transfer the amount due within a month or the consent to transfer the owned property is delayed. I hope we are wrong and it is just a clerk's mistake, but I do not think it is the case," Mikheil Sarjveladze said.

As for the question of how much he personally sees the United States behind the Swiss bank's position on delaying the transfer of money to Ivanishvili, as a certain analyst believes, Sarjveladze says he can not really say that.

"I can not really say that it has anything to do with America. The US is our strategic partner, a friendly state. I have practically no preconditions to say that there is American influence in all this," Sarjveladze said.

According to him, there are people who may have an interest in launching hostilities in Georgia, and the only obstacle to this is the "Georgian Dream" and "this is directly affiliated with the name of Bidzina Ivanishvili."

Mikheil Sarjveladze noted that there are no preconditions for imposing sanctions on Bidzina Ivanishvili and that is why the delay of Bidzina Ivanishvili's legal right is suspicious.
