According to Head of NATO Liaison Office, Alexander Vinnikov, Georgia has a unique set of tools to make progress on its path to NATO membership, as well as to become stronger and be better able to defend itself. Vinnikov stated about it after a meeting with the leaders of the Strategy Builder and the Republican Party.

As Vinnikov noted, the crisis caused by Russia's invasion of Ukraine shows very clearly that NATO will not compromise on its basic principles, including open door policy.

According to Vinnikov, in order to succeed on this path, Georgia must implement and accelerate Euro-Atlantic reforms, especially in the areas such as judiciary, election and security. Vinnikov said this is the concrete matter on which the Georgian Government, Parliament, civil society should join forces and work together, because it will strengthen the country and better prepare it for NATO membership.
