Today, Mikheil Saakashvili's health condition, his life and our European, Western future are closely connected, Nika Melia, the chairman of the National Movement said at the briefing.

He called on international partners to take very active steps through communicating with the Georgian Government and President Salome Zurabishvili to make Georgia's Western aspirations a reality.

"On the one hand, the Georgian Government is telling us that its choice is Euro-Atlantic, filling the questionnaire as it seems. On the other hand, in the eyes of the whole world, he kills President Saakashvili live by torture, thus deliberately undermining the fundamental principles on which Western values are based. I would like to appeal to the international friends and partners of our country to take very active steps through communicating with the Government and President Zurabishvili, so that the European and Western aspirations of our nation do not go in vain and become a reality. We should all understand that when these evil, premeditated actions are taken against Mikheil Saakashvili and steps are taken towards torture and inhuman treatment, these steps not only destroy the third President of the country, but also the western, good and bright future of this country. I would like to ask our international partners to do everything possible so that the country is not diverted from our fundamentally important path. This is how it is, today Mikheil Saakashvili's health condition, his life and our European, Western future are closely connected," Melia said.
