Vladimer Kaniashvili, illegally detained in the Russia-occupied village of Tsinagara, is free. The information is spread by the State Security Service.
According to them, Vladimer Kaniashvili was arrested by the occupation forces on December 9, 2021.
"The "hotline" mechanism was actively used in the process of releasing Vladimer Kaniashvili, who was illegally detained. The issue of illegal detention and his immediate release has been regularly raised by the Georgian central Government in the format of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) and the Geneva International Discussions.
The central Government of Georgia was constantly providing information to international partners.
The central Government of Georgia uses all the mechanisms at its disposal to release other illegally detained Georgian citizens.
The occupation regime bears full responsibility for the destructive actions carried out in the occupied regions and along the occupation line," the statement said.
