Abkhazia is empty; South Ossetia is also half-empty. Gyumri base in Armenia - completely empty

An interesting piece of information came out recently in a conversation between Oleksiy Arestovych, advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, and the Russian opposition journalist Markov Feygin. From the 13th minute onwards, the video of this conversation talks about the pulling of Russian troops into Ukraine from the occupied territories of Georgia from Armenia and Azeri Karabakh, as well as about the involvement of ethnic Armenians in Russia's aggression against Ukraine:

"Abkhazia is empty, South Ossetia is also half empty. The Gyumri base in Armenia is completely empty. Not much was withdrawn from Nagorno-Karabakh. And all this was transferred to us," Arestovich notes. Thus, the Russian Federation, to all appearances, critically lacks energy for the war in Ukraine, since they "expose" such important directions in the eyes of the Armenian lobby, which is actually manipulated by the Kremlin.

According to Aleksey Arestovich, on the battlefield, Ukrainian servicemen took the Armenian passports of liquidated or panic-stricken invaders.

"I had a photo sent to me. Well, it's probably someone with dual citizenship - both Russian and Armenian. They are not really Armenians. I mean, they are not members of the Armenian armed forces, but people with dual citizenship," says Aleksey Arestovich.

This information is very significant. A person with dual citizenship may refuse to participate in aggression and aggressive war against another state, especially in the situation when Russian military circles have been talking about an impending attack on Ukraine for months. In other words, unlike most Russian servicemen of other nationalities who do not have dual citizenship, ethnic Armenians could not take part in the aggression against Ukraine if they wanted to.

But they do participate. And, as Kavkazplus has already written, Armenians from occupied Abkhazia in Georgia, including those from the infamous Baghramyan battalion, are also going to fight against Ukraine as mercenaries.

The question is, what have the Ukrainian people done so badly to the Armenians? Why is there such hatred towards Ukraine and Ukrainophobia of Armenian nationalists, which is also fuelled by propagandists such as Simonyan, Keosayan and Baghdasarov? Is it possible that by killing Ukrainian women and children they hope to bring closer the building of their "great Armenia"?

The opposite is likely to be the case and this is confirmed by the information voiced by Arestovich. The Russian military, which was supposed to protect Armenian interests in the South Caucasus (including in separatist Abkhazia, which is turning into "Maritime Armenia"), is rushing into Ukraine. And there is simply no one to defend the exorbitant ambitions of Armenian nationalists in the South Caucasus.

A clear demonstration of this is the situation in the zone of responsibility of the Russian peacekeepers, who were "thinned" due to the sending of a part of their contingent to Ukraine.  At the moment, the Azerbaijani military is methodically taking control of strategic heights and villages in Karabakh, pushing out the remnants of the "Artsakh" separatists.
