Recognition by Russia of the so-called "independence" of the separatist DNR and LNR and the beginning of Russia's aggression against Ukraine were received by Armenian nationalists in Abkhazia with perhaps the greatest excitement. Let's see, for example, a very eloquent speech of the representative of Armenian Abkhazia Grigory Khorozian at the rally in support of the Russian Federation and the separatists of Donbas in occupied Sukhumi.
Actually, what Khorozian is right about is that if Putin is defeated in his aggression against Ukraine, he and his tribesmen who have settled on foreign lands, expelled the indigenous population and settled in trophy houses and apartments will be very badly off. All of the separatist projects will be shut down in such a case, without exception. Including the separatist regime in occupied Abkhazia, which creates all conditions for total settlement of this Georgian land by "ancient people" in place of expelled Georgians and gradually dying out Abkhazians, will be brought down.
It is in vain that Grigory Khorozian and Armenian nationalists in Abkhazia consoled themselves by saying that they allegedly "have never lost". Let him be told how his compatriots who settled in the Azerbaijani lands of Karabakh "never lost". Let them tell him how after "winning" they fled from there in a panic, burning their "looted" property, which they didn't have time to take away.
It is clear that the Armenian nationalists in Abkhazia are hoping for the success of Putin's aggression. And, judging by the trends, this aggression goes exactly according to the plans of the Armenian lobby, obsessed with appropriating as much of the sea coast as possible.
Thus, during the hostilities in Ukraine, especially in recent days, the Russian troops have practically stopped their offensive in the north of Ukraine near Kiev, Chernigov, Sumy and Kharkov, but they are throwing more forces to occupy the Black and Azov seashores in the south of the country. Semyon Pegov, the "duty mutt" of the Armenian lobby, who is currently on the Ukrainian front, dedicated a story to an Armenian family living near Mariupol, which, they say, the Russian aggressors "liberated. Of course, he did not specify why these Armenians moved to such "bad" Ukraine. Or are they already "ancient and indigenous there?"
Given the fact that the Armenian lobby has "set its eyes" on the occupied Ukrainian Crimea and is already "developing" it, there is clearly an intention of the Russian weapons to expand the lands of the future "coastal Armenia" as much as possible. Where the key area of mass settlement of the Armenian population is planned precisely in the occupied Georgian Abkhazia.
But there is hope that Ukraine and its allies, who are doing everything to stop the aggressor, will put an end to these crazy plans.
