Salome Zourabichvili - We can say that Europe is enterring to Georgia and we are entering to Europe

We can say that Europe is entering to Georgia and we are entering to Europe. It is a big step for the whole country, - Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili said in a speech at a solemn event on Lisi Lake, dedicated to Georgia's right to host the Eurobasket group stage.

 

“We are becoming one of Europe's cities, just like other European cities. We will be hosting some of the games at FIBA. Therefore, we can say that Europe is entering to Georgia and we are entering to Europe. This is a big step for the whole country," the president said.

 

As she noted, the construction of a new multifunctional sports palace in Georgia is awaited, as it will be "European-level infrastructure in Georgia".
