Maxim Vaskov speaks about "Altai nomads" and "Turkish atrocities" against the background of separatist flags

One cannot be surprised by the Turkishophobia in the Armenian media. Neither is Georgiaophobia or support for separatism. These ideas are also practiced by the Realist news agency, whose editor-in-chief is Armenian nationalist Sarkis Tsaturyan.

Yet another proof that Armenian nationalism, separatism and Turkophobia are interconnected has appeared.  Recently, an interview with the Armenian edition oragir.news was given by a certain Maxim Vaskov, who loudly calls himself "the scientific director of the Center for International Studies "World of the Caucasus.

The fact that this fake office is fully funded by the Armenian lobby is proved by an eloquent photo to the interview where Maxim Vaskov is standing in front of a whole row of separatist flags of so-called Artsakh, Transnistria, Abkhazia and so-called "South Ossetia", with flags of Armenia and Russia standing in a row. In other words, the insignificant Tskhinvali puppet regime and the huge Russia are "equalized" between them.

The Realist news agency also published the interview:

Reportedly, Oragir.news spoke to Maxim Vaskov, member of the Russian Union of Journalists and head of the International Analytical Center "Peace in the Caucasus," dotted with separatist flags, "about the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and regional developments. And Maxim Vaskov simply speaks as a mouthpiece of Armenian nationalist propaganda:

"I saw how Azerbaijanian "vandals" smashed monuments on the graves of Armenians, how they purposefully and deliberately destroyed Christian shrines. When I came to "Artsakh" after the war, I was shown monstrous footage of Azerbaijanis destroying Armenian civilians. How could a person be tortured so that traces would remain on his bones, what kind of person would you have to be, not a human being, but a devil? What the Azerbaijanis, the Turks and their international terrorist allies did on the Armenian land of "Artsakh" is no different from the crimes of the Nazis."

Naturally, Vaskov did not cite any documents, exposing the alleged "atrocities of the Azerbaijanis". Nor did he mention the destruction of Azerbaijani mosques, the desecration of cemeteries, the genocide of the Azerbaijani population in Khojaly, which is confirmed by a huge number of testimonies, documents, photographs and other irrefutable evidence.

Vaskov went on to lash out at his compatriots who "dared" to sympathize with Azerbaijan:

"...And those who in Russia and other countries congratulated Azerbaijanis on the "victory" are like capos who served Nazis in concentration camps. For anyone who has a mind, the conflict in its historical background and in its current aspects is clearly the aggression of the Azerbaijani-Turkish tandem," he stressed. According to the expert, the cause of the Karabakh conflict is the legacy that "was the result of not just short-sighted, but criminal policy of the Bolsheviks, who, sacrificing the interests of the Armenian people and Russia, sought to make Turkey their "ally", while naively hoping for promises to promote the world revolution in the Middle East ...

In addition to Turkophobia, Maxim Vaskov also foments Ukrainianophobia and "carries out the assignment of the Armenian lobby" which now maniacally seeks to clash the brotherly peoples of Russia and Ukraine:

"...However, the Bolsheviks did not care about the historical interests of Russia. Without the slightest hesitation they cut up and distributed the historical territory of Russia. This also includes the criminal transfer of native Russian territories with the Russian population to Ukraine, and in 1954 the Crimea. The peace imposed by bayonets on the basis of injustice and the denial of historical facts will always be doomed ...".

Naturally, Vaskov repeated the already hackneyed Armenian nationalist myth about the "antiquity" of Armenians in Azerbaijani Karabakh and about the "immigrantness" of the Azerbaijanis themselves:

"The height of hypocrisy is to refer to the Soviet borders and demand for itself the territory of Armenian "Artsakh," where the Armenian people have been present since ancient times, and the ancestors of Turks were still roaming somewhere in the Altai region. The tragedy with the Armenian population of "Artsakh" was repeated in front of the silent position of the world community and not only. Professionalism cannot be separated from justice and objectivity, and they clearly show that the truth is on the side of the Armenian people," said Maxim Vaskov.

And all this is against the background of the symbols of separatist non-states, whose term of existence is coming to an end. As is the demand for such venal and deceitful "experts" as Vaskov, who do nothing but harm to their country, Russia, by being led by Armenian nationalists.
