Ministry: Remuneration of social agents and employees of the Social Service Agency will increase from February

According to the decision made within the framework of the structural and organizational development plan worked out by the Social Service Agency, the salaries of social agents and employees of the Social Service Agency will be increased throughout Georgia from February. The Ministry of Health spreads information about it.

 

As the ministry explains, a social agent's salary consists of two components - fixed and output-based remuneration. The increase will affect both components.

 

"As a result of active consultations with the Social Service Agency in recent months, a decision has been made to increase the fixed salary of a social agent by around 60%. In particular, it will become 400 GEL instead of 250 GEL, and 700 GEL instead of 550 GEL for a senior social agent. During the visits, social agents will receive 10 GEL instead of 6 GEL for one completed declaration.

 

Also, the salary of up to 1000 low and middle level employees of the Social Service Agency will be increased from 40% to 60%.

 

The priority of the Social Service Agency is the uninterrupted delivery of social services to the population. To this end, work continues to improve the quality of services of the Social Service Agency in terms of both organizational and structural changes," the ministry says in a statement.
