07.12.21 15:10

According to TV presenter Nanuka Zhorzholiani, the platform created for the release of Mikheil Saakashvili will hold its first rally tomorrow outside the presidential residence.

As she told InterpressNews, the platform will unite all those who think that Saakashvili is a political prisoner and that the current justice system against him is selective. According to her, the mentioned platform will not have any contact with political parties.

"This platform unites everyone who demands FreeMisha, not just Mikheil Saakashvili's supporters, there are people who are his political opponents, but think that he is a political prisoner and justice is selective for him. We have not talked to politicians because they have their own platforms. Various types of rallies and activities will be planned, first we will go to Salome Zourabichvili's palace and tell her that she is the only person with real leverage to ease the situation. When political opponents say today that there should be political peace in the country, we are saying that it is impossible as long as Saakashvili is in prison," Nanuka Zhorzholiani said.
