According to Parliament Speaker Kakha Kuchava, the purpose of visiting Elene Khoshtaria, the leader of the party Droa, was to check her health condition and to make sure that she has all the necessary conditions. At the same time, as Kuchava told reporters after the meeting, a doctor is working in the parliament, to whom Khoshtaria can apply at any time, and he himself, as the Parliament Speaker, will also be in touch with the doctor.

 

"I just visited her, I wanted to make sure that she has all the conditions. I want everyone to know that a doctor works in the parliament and if necessary, his services will be used as well. Elene is satisfied with everything. We have not talked about anything other than her health. All people have the right to be on hunger strike, it is their right, the main thing for me was to check her health condition and to make sure that she has all the necessary conditions", Kuchava said.

 

Elene Khoshtaria has been on hunger strike in the parliament for the third day. Kakha Kuchava met her today behind closed doors, without the media. Later, Lelo MP Ana Natsvlishvili and Republican Party Chairman Khatuna Samnidze also joined the meeting.
