I thank Boris Johnson and Antonio Gutierrez for their efforts to bring together more than 120 world leaders in the wake of the pandemic, - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili wrote on Facebook.

 

According to the head of government, climate change is a global challenge that cannot be tackled without joint efforts.

 

"I had the honor to participate on behalf of Georgia in the 26th UN World Summit of Leaders on Climate Change 2021, which was held in Glasgow.

 

I thank the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, and the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Gutierrez, for their efforts to bring together more than 120 world leaders in the wake of the pandemic.

 

Climate change is a global challenge that cannot be tackled without joint efforts. We are obliged to act together.
