Why does Mr. Gharibashvili walk from city to city every day and why does he curse the rest of Georgia? - Nika Melia, the chairman of the United National Movement and Tbilisi mayoral candidate, said at the rally demanding the release of former President Mikheil Saakashvili.
He said the government will be defeated by the coalition unity.
"Because he is well informed that he will not be able to win with any tricks on October 30, if we stand very firmly, as we have been all these years. The opposition is as united as ever. Traditionally, the government has always been defeated by a coalition unity and we managed it in Tbilisi, Rustavi, Telavi, Batumi, etc. If we start to find out who we like and who we do not like, I will tell you directly, unfortunately, Mikheil Saakashvili will be a victim of this regime for a long time and many of us will also be victims, because the regime can only be defeated by unity, courage, patriotism and not grumbling, not to say that the elections do not make sense," Melia said.
He noted that Mikheil Saakashvili will definitely be released from prison.
"I have no doubt that Mikheil Saakashvili will leave this illegal prison, but we want him to leave earlier than later," Melia said.
At the same time, according to Nika Melia, the participation in the elections and the release of Mikheil Saakashvili are closely connected.
