The problem of drinking water will no longer exist in Uplistsikhe - the drinking water project has already started, the project is funded by the Gori Municipality , - the Gori City Hall spreads information about it.
According to the agency, the cost of the works will amount to 734,500 GEL and will be completed in the summer of 2022.
The project will include a well, a reservoir with a chlorinator, a water main and a distribution network. Individual meters will be installed.
The rural population has been using individual wells for decades. "After the completion of the project, about 250 families will have 24-hour water supply," - it is said in the information.
