9 patients admitted to the field hospital

According to the Deputy Minister of Health, Tamar Gabunia, from today the field hospital is working at full capacity and at the moment there are 9 patients admitted to the hospital.

 

As Gabunia noted, patients will stay at the field hospital for 2-3 days, after which they will be transferred to a hotel or other hospital.

 

"Last night it became necessary to start operating the field hospital. 9 patients were admitted to the field hospital. Their condition is moderate. The hospital will be fully operational from today. The field hospital is mostly for temporary stays. In this case, the main thing for us is to stabilize the patient in time and then transfer her according to the severity. We think that we should not make the patients stay in the field hospital for more than 2-3 days and then transfer them to a hotel or other hospital. The hospital sector is now under maximum load. If a place is vacated, this place will be filled", - Gabunia said.


The Deputy Minister of Health also noted that additional mobilization of the hospital sector is underway and it will be more comfortable for them and the patients if the field hospital is minimally loaded.
