Tamar Gabunia: It is too early to make any optimistic prognosis, but there is an emerging picture of a slight stabilization

According to the Deputy Minister of Health, Tamar Gabunia, there is no discussion about imposing additional restrictions at this stage in order to prevent coronavirus. According to her, the main thing is to enforce the existing restrictions.


"At this stage, there is no discussion about additional restrictions. One thing I can say is the numbers today are slightly lower than they were yesterday and even at the beginning of the week. The good thing is that we do not see a surge. Of course, it is too early to make any optimistic prognosis, but there is an emerging picture of a slight stabilization, to some extent, based on these figures. Thus, the main thing is for us to enforce the recommendations and regulations that have already been imposed", - Gabunia said.
