Ekaterine Dgebuadze: Up to 40% of teachers across Georgia have already been vaccinated

According to Ekaterine Dgebuadze, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science, up to 40% of teachers across Georgia have already been vaccinated.

 

Ekaterine Dgebuadze, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia inspected the special space allocated for immunization of school representatives in Mtskheta Municipality together with Davit Nozadze, State Representative of Mtskheta-Mtianeti.

 

"The teachers who came to get vaccinated told the First Deputy Minister that they and their colleagues are well aware of the importance of immunization and the responsibility that the representatives of the education sector have in this regard. Ekaterine Dgebuadze thanked the teachers and school representatives for their involvement in the universal vaccination process and called on them to be more active, to be involved in the immunization process in time and by protecting themselves help to defeat the pandemic", - the statement reads.

 

According to Dgebuadze, the fact that the number of vaccinated teachers across Georgia is approaching 40% is pleasing, the process continues and in the near future this figure will increase significantly.

 

"In order to maximize the process of immunization, all the immunization centers operating in Georgia are additionally allocated vaccination cabinets and vaccination groups for the representatives of the education sector. Vaccination with the desired vaccine in the centers is possible without prior registration", - it is said in the information
