Woman, tested positive for coronavirus during pregnancy, dies several weeks after delivery

A woman, who tested positive for coronavirus during pregnancy, has died at the Bokeria Clinic in Tbilisi.

 

As InterPressNews was told at the hospital, the woman gave birth to her child about 3-4 weeks ago and died on August 19 due to complications.

 

"She passed away today. She went through a lot of problems after delivery. He was very ill. She was infected with coronavirus when admitted and her condition aggravated," a representative of the clinic said.
