The rate of spread of infections is still high, there are no signs of stabilization in any of the regions, - Deputy Minister of Health Tamar Gabunia told reporters about the epidemic situation.

 

According to her, preventive measures must be strictly observed.

 

"Up to 6,000 cases were reported in the last 24 hours, unfortunately, 49 deaths. The prevalence rate is still high. As it turns out, there are no signs of stabilization in any region, which once again indicates the need to strictly observe preventive measures. According to yesterday's decision of the council, the use of the facemask is mandatory in all areas, the regulations that were in force remain in force, especially the restriction of social events", - Gabunia said, adding that against the background of the epidemic "the activity of citizens in terms of vaccinations remains at a high level, as 25 thousand vaccines are administered daily."
