5.1 magnitude earthquake occurred in Georgia.

 

According to the Institute of Earth Sciences and the National Center for Seismic Monitoring, the epicenter of the earthquake was the village of Sameba.


The earthquake occurred at 05:44 Tbilisi time. The quake of 3.2 magnitude occurred near the village of Sameba at 05:51 too.

 

A few hours earlier, two earthquakes also occurred near the village of Sameba. The magnitude of the earthquake was 3.7 and 4.1, respectively.

 

A total of 4 earthquakes were registered in the country in the last 24 hours.
